El Mural Gallery curates city collections of fine art murals. We are currently launching the Tarapoto Collection. Tarapoto for us is the 'city of murals' in the Amazon jungle of Northern Peru (Blog).

 

Murals transform parts of the city into stunning expressions of colours, beauty and meaning.

Nothing lasts forever, and Murals are no exception. They deteriorate over time with the winds and the rain. Our photographer (Jose-Luis)  captured the Tarapoto Collection just as the murals were beginning to mature and the signs of a life well-lived were beginning to show, in their prime.

 

Nature plays its role in creating fine-art murals which we capture on film and share in the El Mural Gallery archive and at exhibitions in cities around the world (See Events).​
